This informal webinar will provide an introduction to carbon literacy for photographers. In a lively 45 minute session we will explore how the photography sector communicates climate change and we will discuss approaches to developing a low carbon photographic practice. The session will include practical advice and examples to support you in considering your impact on the environment and will offer ways to commit to reducing your carbon footprint within your photographic work.

Helena Lee is a photographic artist and amateur gardener who celebrates nature through her artwork. Helena runs her own photographic business which is led by her commitment to environmental sustainability. She is the author of 'Climate Aware Photography', a course and certification scheme for photographers to demonstrate their commitment to reducing their carbon footprint and building an environmentally sustainable practice. 'Climate Aware Photography' meets the Carbon Literacy Standard and is accredited by The Carbon Literacy Project.
